I come from a unique background, with one foot in the world of literature, where imagination knows no bounds, and the other in medicine, where rules reign supreme. UX design strikes the perfect balance between these two extremes, combining creativity with structure. After experiencing the grueling work-life balance (or lack thereof) in medicine, I knew I needed a career that will let me impact the world without sacrificing my sanity. My literary background has taught me the power of storytelling and empathy, while my medical experience honed my attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Now, as a UX designer/researcher, I’m excited to create meaningful digital experiences that truly make a difference—without needing to know that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell!
